Now, this isn't my own experience. I am going on the information that my wife has given me. She attended their program recently just for week long stay. She wants make changes in her life , alcohol is her addiction of choice. Get ready when your there and by all means when you check in your belongings be sure to get a itemize list of things. Glasses, (prescription) gone... Package of smokes gone.. Hair trimmer battery operated gone... Oh and she wasn't the only one?? And be sure to see your doctor before you go, you will not see one there, although they will intend to have you see one it just doesn't happen. About the checking out process make sure they have the most updated list of care givers post stay. they gave us some people to see and the place moved and we wasted time and energy trying to get a prescription filled. (none filled) Just think my health care pays for this along with my fees.. But, I guess in the end if she find sobriety with that kind of help, good for her. I will be so proud of her.

Over the past year + our facility has referred many individuals to Serenity and had great success. They have a great team of clinicians and after care workers that help clients transition back to our facility if needed. Without a shadow of a doubt the main reason that we deal with Serenity at Summit is Mary O'Neill. She is an amazing professional who has been someone our organization has trusted since we first met. She works hard, gives great advice and truly cares about the clients she has in treatment. Although I do really appreciate the clinical and transitional services at Serenity, if Mary were to ever leave Serenity at Summit I would truly have to reconsider our long-term relationship. When I think of Serenity all of the positive and worthwhile things have all originated from Mary. Wonderful person with the client's best interest in mind, always.

Serenity at summit was absolutely amazing! I went into detox this time completely broken and battered from a year long IV heroin run. I had finally had enough and needed help (again). From the moment I arrived, I was met with loving staff and a beautiful facility. Withdrawal from heroin (fentanyl) is so excruciating and horrible, however the staff of nurses, doctors, therapists, and techs made it as comfortable as possible. When I finally felt better I began to attend the groups - which were ran beautifully and thoughtfully... basic and light, not trying to overload the patients with too much information, and allowing questions to be asked for those who were in a recovery situation for the first time. The nightly commitments were incredible, sharing the message of NA or AA and giving experience, strength, and hope to patients who were at their lowest of lows. After a week at Serenity, I went on to further treatment for 30 days, followed by attending an IOP living at home. I have a sponsor, a home group, and am working the steps of NA. I will have 6 months clean/sober in November and life is REALLY good today! It all started with Serenity at Summit and I will be forever grateful for their program. Again— I have been to countless detoxes around the country and Serenity by far is the best. I recommend it to anyone I know who is struggling to get help from active addiction.
